- 3 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. white syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. hot milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- nuts to taste
Directions

1Put 1 cup sugar in pan over low heat until sugar melts.

2Add hot milk, remaining sugar and corn syrup.

3Cook until mixture reaches 238° (soft ball stage).

4Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and nuts.

5Beat until mixture is thick, but still shiny. Drop by spoonful onto wax paper.
