- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. molasses (Old Barrel)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil together sugar, molasses and salt to 245°.

2Add butter and cream; boil to 242°.

3Remove from heat.

4Add vanilla.

5Be careful to stir often while cooking, especially near the end.

6Pour into a well buttered 5 x 10-inch pan.

7Cool until cold.

8Cut in small squares and wrap in wax paper.
