- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. half and half
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 64 pecan halves
Directions

1In 4-quart saucepan, combine sugar, 1 cup half and half, syrup and butter.

2Cook over medium heat until it comes to a rolling boil (7 to 8 minutes).

3Add remaining half and half until 245° on candy thermometer or dropped in ice water forms a ball (35 or 40 minutes).

4Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.

5Cover and refrigerate.

6Cut into squares.

7Melt chocolate; place 1 or 1 1/2 teaspoons of chocolate on each square.

8Place pecans onto chocolate and refrigerate.
