  • 1 c. mixed nuts
  • 1 c. pretzels
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. dark syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, melt oleo and stir in sugar, syrup and salt.

    Bring to a boil; keep stirring.

    Boil 5 minutes, without stirring.
