- 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) box Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. melted butter or regular margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in top of double boiler.

2Cover and place over boiling water until melted, stirring occasionally.

3Keep warm.

4Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter in large bowl.

5Beat with electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

6(Mixture is thick.)

7Spread one-half mixture in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
