Caramel-Chocolate Pears

- 3 to 4 sheets caramel
- 3 to 4 ripe medium pears
- 3 to 4 wooden sticks
- 1/3 c. desired topping
- 6 oz. chocolate candy coating
Directions

1Unwrap caramel sheets.

2Using a round or scalloped cutter, cut out a 1 1/2-inch circle from the center of each sheet.

3Rinse and dry pears; remove stems.

4Center a sheet of caramel over the stem end of each pear.

5Wrap caramel around the pear, pressing ends under base of pear.

6Insert a wooden stick into stem end of each pear.

7Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

8Stand pears on baking sheet.

9Bake in a 300° oven for 5 minutes.

10Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
