- 3 1/2 qt. or 14 c. popped corn
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Place popcorn in large well-greased broiler pan.

2In a heavy saucepan, melt butter.

3Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.

4Boil for 5 minutes over medium heat.

5Stir in vanilla and soda.

6Pour syrup over corn, mixing well.

7Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

8When cool, separate kernels.

9Store tightly covered.

10Makes 3 1/2 quarts.
