Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. light Karo
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 8 qt. popped corn

Directions

    In saucepan, mix butter, Karo, sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Boil for 5 minutes. Add soda.

    Pour caramel sauce over popped corn and stir.

    Place into 3 large pans and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring several times. Store in airtight container.

    Yields 8 quarts.
