  • 1 c. popcorn, popped (unsalted)
  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 to 2 c. unsalted nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. margarine

Directions

    Bring Karo, margarine, sugar and salt to a boil and boil for 4 1/2 minutes.

    Remove and add soda and 1 teaspoon of margarine. Pour syrup over popped corn and nuts and mix well.

    Bake at 225° for 1 hour; stir every 15 minutes.
