  • 8 qt. popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, butter or oleo and corn syrup.
  2. 2
    Boil to hard crack stage, stirring as needed on not too hot a burner. Add baking soda and stir very well. Divide corn into 2 large pans and pour caramel mixture over corn. Stir until well coated. Place in 250° oven for 1 hour.
