- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 yeast cakes
- several c. flour
Directions

1Mix together water, sugar, salt and shortening; let cool. Soften 2 cakes yeast in 1/4 cup warm water with 1 teaspoon sugar. Add 2 well beaten eggs to first mixture, then add yeast to that. Add enough flour gradually until you get a dough you can roll out. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator.

2Will keep 6 to 7 days.

3When ready to use, make into buns; let rise 1 hour.

4Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
