- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 10 qt. unsalted popped popcorn
- 1 large jar dry roasted peanuts
Directions

1Mix first ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil.

2Boil 3 minutes stirring often.

3Remove from heat and add soda.

4Mix well. Pour over popped popcorn and peanuts; mix with a wooden spoon. Place in a flat pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 200°.

5Stir every 15 minutes.

6Take from oven and store in airtight container after cool.
