- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. oleo, softened
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 8 c. popcorn, popped
- 1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
Directions

1Heat oven to 250°.

2Spray (vegetable spray) 2 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) or 1 (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch) jelly roll pan.

3Heat brown sugar, oleo, corn syrup and salt in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbling around the edges. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes longer.

4Remove from heat; stir in baking soda until foamy and light colored. Pour over popcorn and nuts in a greased, large bowl.

5Stir until mixture is coated.
