- 1 1/3 c. popcorn, unpopped
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2Pop popcorn without butter or oil.

3It needs to be dry.

4Mix together margarine, corn syrup, brown sugar and cream of tartar.

5Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat and immediately stir in baking soda, stirring well.

7This will foam up.

8Pour over popcorn and mix well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

9Cool on waxed paper and store in airtight container.

10Yields 15 servings.
