- 8 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup and butter in a heavy pan.

2Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and add soda, salt and cream of tartar.

4Pour immediately over popped corn.

5Mix lightly but well.

6Place in a large roaster pan.

7Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Stir once while baking.

8Pour on waxed paper and separate.
