- 1 c. unpopped corn
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Pop corn and put into a large roaster or pan.

2Remove all unpopped kernels (if you value your teeth).

3Melt margarine; add syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt.

4Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes (a good rolling boil).

5Add soda and pour over popcorn. Mix with a wooden spoon and toast in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes in a 200° oven.

6Pig out.
