Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 8 or 9 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except soda.

    Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda, stirring quickly.

    As it foams, pour over corn and mix well.

    Place on cookie sheets and put in oven for a few minutes at 225° to 250°.

    Cool slightly and store in airtight container.
