- 4 qt. freshly popped corn
- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2Cook sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in saucepan, stirring constantly, until it bubbles.

3Cook for 5 minutes without stirring.

4Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla.

7Pour syrup over and stir well.

8Place in oven at 250° for 1 hour.

9Stir 2 or 3 times during baking.

10Remove from oven and cool.
