  • 6 qt. popped popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, salt, syrup and butter in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring.

    Add baking soda and pour over popped corn.

    Spread on buttered cookie sheet and bake one hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Cool on waxed paper.
