Ingredients
- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, mix sugar, butter, syrup and salt.

2Stir over medium heat until boiling.

3Continue boiling, without stirring, for 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in vanilla and soda.

6Pour over popped corn; stir to coat well.

7Bake in preheated 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring several times.

8Cool and break apart.
-
9Store in tightly covered container.

10Add peanuts or pecans, if desired.
