- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 12 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Bring mixture of sugar, syrup, butter and salt to a boil; cook to soft ball stage.

2Remove from heat; add 1/2 teaspoon soda and cream of tartar.

3Pour over popped corn; mix well.

4Put in pan; bake in oven for 1 hour at 200°.

5Remove from oven; place on waxed paper and separate.

6After it is cool, place in sealed jar or plastic bag.
