  • 4 1/2 c. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, oleo, syrup and salt in a saucepan; boil 5 minutes on medium heat.

    Stir in vanilla and soda; mix well. Slowly pour over popcorn, stirring well to coat.

    Heap onto cookie sheet.

    Bake one hour in a 250° oven; do not stir.

    Store in covered jar.

    Don't break up, tends to break up by itself.
