  • 8 qt. popped corn (light salt)
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • dash of salt
  • pinch of cream of tartar

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and oleo.

    Boil 5 minutes, no longer.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda, cream of tartar and salt.

    Pour over corn and mix quickly.

    Bake, uncovered, at 200° for 1 hour.

    If using butter, bake at 150°.
