- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 qt. popcorn, popped
Directions

1Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt.

2Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.

3Pour over popcorn immediately in large roasting pan.

4Bake in a slow oven at 250° for 1 hour.

5Stir every 15 minutes.

6After baking, stir continuously until cool.

7Kernels will not stick.
