  • 6 qt. popped popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put popped popcorn in a large roaster pan.

    Bring brown sugar, Karo syrup and margarine to a boil; boil for 5 minutes.

    Take off heat.

    Add soda, salt and vanilla.

    Pour over popped popcorn. Bake at 250° for 40 minutes.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Spread on waxed paper.

    Can freeze.

    Can add peanuts while baking.
