  • 8 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. salted peanuts
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring

    large mixing bowl. Combine butter, corn syrup, sugar and salt in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat.

    Quickly stir in soda and flavorings.

    Pour over popcorn and mix well.

    Spoon mixture onto a jelly roll pan and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
