  • 5 to 6 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. peanuts

Directions

    In saucepan, boil brown sugar, butter and corn syrup for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat; add vanilla, salt and baking soda; blend.

    Pour over popcorn and mix well.

    Add peanuts and mix again.

    Place in large pan and bake 40 minutes in 250° oven.

    Stir about every 10 minutes.

    Place on wax paper or large cookie sheet and allow to cool.

    Store in airtight container.
