  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup (white or dark)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 5-7 qt. popped popcorn

Directions

    Preheat oven to 225°. In large saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Heat until boiling. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Stir until mixture foams. Pour over popped corn and stir well to coat.
