  • 5 qt. popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    In saucepan, melt butter.

    Add brown sugar and syrup.

    Bring to a full rolling boil.

    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and soda.

    Mixture will foam.

    Pour mixture over popcorn in a large roaster.

    Stir until coated.

    Place pan in 200° oven; stir every 5 minutes until popcorn dries.

    Remove from oven.

    Stir to separate popcorn.
