- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 stick oleo (1/2 c.) or butter
Directions

1Cook sugar, butter and salt over medium heat until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly.

2Cook five minutes at a lower temperature, stirring occasionally.

3Put popcorn in large container.

4Pour sugar and butter mixture over popcorn.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Spread popcorn into two cookie sheets.

7Bake for 1 hour in 250° oven.

8Break apart and put in airtight container.
