- 4 qt. popped corn (no salt or oil)
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Boil together the margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes.

2Bring to a hard boil.

3Remove from heat.

4Add vanilla and soda and stir well.

5While foaming, pour over popped corn, stirring to coat all popcorn.

6Do in a large roasting pan.

7Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

8Spread on wax paper to cool.
