- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 3 to 5 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Bring sugar, margarine, syrup and salt to a boil.

2Boil 2 minutes on High in microwave oven.

3Remove from oven and stir in soda.

4Put popcorn in a large brown bag.

5Pour syrup over popcorn. Fold top of bag and place in microwave on High for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes.

6Remove bag from oven every 45 to 50 seconds and shake. Spread caramel coated corn on waxed paper to cool.

7Store tightly covered.
