- 10 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 cubes margarine
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil brown sugar, margarine, Karo syrup and cream of tartar for 5 minutes.

2Stir in soda and vanilla.

3Add syrup to popcorn (I use a large metal bowl).

4Bake in metal bowl at 250° for about 1 hour.

5Stir occasionally.

6After it has cooled, if it is sticky, bake for a short while longer.

7Should be crunchy when done.
