Ingredients

  • 8 to 9 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil all ingredients, except corn and soda for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    Remove and add soda; stir quickly.

    Pour over popped corn.

    Put in 2 large pans and bake for 1 hour at 250°, stirring 2 to 3 times.
