- 6 qt. popped corn
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Bring to a boil all except popcorn.

2Let boil 5 minutes.

3Add 1 teaspoon soda.

4(It will foam.)

5Stir well.

6Pour over popcorn and stir well.

7Bake 1 hour at 200°; stir 2 times while baking.

8When done, spread out on table to cool.
