  • 6 qt. popcorn, popped
  • 3 c. nuts
  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Spray large roasting pan with Pam.

    Place popcorn and nuts in pan.

    Place in oven at 250° while cooking other ingredients.

    Cook sugar, oleo, syrup and salt at rolling boil for 5 minutes.

    Add vanilla and soda; stir well and pour over warm corn and nuts. Place in 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Spread on wax paper and break into pieces.

    Store in airtight container.
