  • 2 c. unpopped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Pop the popcorn first.

    In a 2-quart pan combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt.

    Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.

    Stir in soda and vanilla.

    Pour over popped corn, stirring constantly.

    Bake at 275° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes or immediately form into balls.

    Store in airtight container as soon as cool.
