- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.

3Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in soda and vanilla.

6Pour over popped corn, mixing well. Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans or cookie sheets.

7Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Stir, let cool. Stir again so it doesn't stick in big chunks.
