- 6 qt. seasoned popcorn (2 heaping cake pans)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Bring all ingredients, except popcorn and soda, to a boil. Boil 5 minutes, stirring often.

2Stir in soda quickly.

3Pour over popcorn and peanuts; stir well.

4Place in 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

5Stir while cooling.

6Reduce salt to 1/2 teaspoon if no peanuts or salted peanuts are added.
