  • 2 c. cocktail peanuts (optional)
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt

    brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt 5 minutes. Remove from

    heat and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

    Pour over corn and peanuts.

    until well mixed.

    Spread on 2 large cookie sheets and bake 1 hour at 250°.

    baking. Remove

    oven and continue stirring until cool.
