- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 4 c. cornflakes
Directions

1Stir, melt and cook brown sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter to the soft-ball stage at 238 degrees.

2Place 4 c. of cornflakes in a large buttered mixing bowl.

3Stir in the hot syrup mixture until blended.

4Pack the flakes in a buttered 8-inch ring mold. Cool. Invert and serve with sugared or stewed fruit.
