  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 lb. butter or oleo
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar; when thin, add to above mixture. Cook until forms soft ball in cold water.

    Let cool.

    Add vanilla and beat until creamed.

    Drop on waxed paper.
