  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups crisped rice cereal
  • 1 chocolate bar, chopped
  • 1 caramel bar, chopped

    In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    Stir in corn syrup and vanilla; cook, stirring, for about 4 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in cereal and chopped candy.

    Spread into lightly greased 13x9-inch cake pan.

    Cover and refrigeratefor about 1 hour or until firm.
