Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. water
- 12 oz. shrimp or sea legs
- 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
Directions

1Cook onions, celery and garlic in hot oil until tender, but not brown.

2Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.

3Simmer uncovered 45 minutes.

4Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water. Stir into sauce.

5Cook and add shrimp and peppers.

6Cook 5 minutes more.

7Serve over rice.
