- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. 3-minute brand oats
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 6 oz. caramel topping
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
Directions

1Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and nuts.

2Stir in melted butter.

3Spread in a thin layer over a cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until brown.

4Cool and then crumble.

5Put half of the crumbs in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

6Spoon caramel topping over crumbs.

7Slice softened ice cream over topping.

8Top with remaining crumbs and freeze.

9Cut into squares to serve.

10Yields 12 to 15 servings.
