  • 2 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 lb. butter
  • 1 large can Carnation milk

Directions

    Put 4 tablespoons sugar in deep, heavy pot and brown.

    Add butter and stir continually until sugar dissolves.

    Set off of heat.

    Add rest of sugar and cream.
  5. 5
    Put back on stove and cook until it piles up (about 240°).

    Cool and frost cake.
