- 2 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/3 lb. butter
- 1 large can Carnation milk
Directions

1Put 4 tablespoons sugar in deep, heavy pot and brown.

2Add butter and stir continually until sugar dissolves.

3Set off of heat.

4Add rest of sugar and cream.

5Put back on stove and cook until it piles up (about 240°).

6Cool and frost cake.
