- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar and cream.

2Cook several minutes with lid on.

3Remove lid and bring to a boil. Allow to boil several minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Add butter; remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.

5Add vanilla and beat until thick and creamy; spread on cake.

6Very good on angel food cake.
