- 3 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix 3 cups sugar and flour, then add milk; mix well.

2Add margarine.

3(I cook this in an 8 or 9-inch iron skillet.)

4Let this come to a boil.

5Put the 1/4 cup sugar in another small skillet. Be careful browning this sugar.

6When it is brown, take the other skillet off the heat, add the browned sugar and cook until a soft ball forms in a cup of cold water.
