  • 3 c. white sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pt. half and half

Directions

    Take out 5 tablespoons of sugar and caramelize.

    Mix remaining sugar, cream and butter and cook until it reaches a boil.

    Add caramelized sugar, beating constantly.

    Cook to soft ball stage. Cool and beat.
