- 1 stick margarine
- 3 Tbsp. Karo syrup
- 1 c. Carnation canned milk
Directions

1Brown 1/2 cup sugar in iron frypan.

2Mix the rest of the recipe in saucepan, stirring constantly over heat.

3When 1/2 cup of sugar is brown, add to mixture in saucepan.

4Cook until mixture will not drip off wooden spoon easily, or forms soft balls when dropped in cool water.

5Remove from heat.

6Beat and ice cake layers.
